LIL WAYNE "THE REBIRTH" ALBUM PUSHED BACKK TO MAY AND CARTER IV COMING OUT IN DECEMBER

Despite a minor setback, Lil Wayne will pull double duty and release two albums in 2009.

Not even the No. 1 selling artist of 2008 can withstand the inevitable album pushback. Lil Wayne’s first rock album Rebirth is now on the map for May. It had previously been scheduled for an April 7 release.

Inside sources also tell us that the follow-up to 2008’s best-selling album Tha Carter III, Tha Carter IV, will arrive just before the holidays in December, making for a nice Christmas gift for fans and Universal Motown.

The New Orleans rapper will shoot the video for his first single “Prom Queen” today and tomorrow in Los Angeles. The song is currently No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100.
